Brenda Bartosovsky
Intern
My name is Brenda, and I have been working as a mental health counselor for over four years. Inspired by my personal experiences with trauma and my own healing journey, I have dedicated my life to supporting the growth and healing of others. I specialize in helping adults with PTSD, C-PTSD, and other trauma-related challenges to recognize their resilience, reestablish their sense of peace, and achieve meaningful growth and fulfillment. Additionally, I enjoy helping adults who struggle with anxiety gain the tools they need to live confidently, free from a life ruled by fear and what-ifs.
I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy to help individuals understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and to implement strategies to rewire negative thought patterns. I also implement dialectical behavior therapy to assist individuals in learning how to regulate their emotions, practice mindfulness, navigate interpersonal conflicts, and cope with stress in healthier ways.
Committed to providing a safe space for everyone in therapy, my counseling approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and LGBTQIA+ affirming to ensure that people from all backgrounds feel safe and supported. My clients appreciate my ability to combine warmth and compassion with honest feedback that encourages their growth.
I deeply appreciate your decision to take the next step towards achieving your goals, and I am very excited to meet you and start supporting you on your journey.
