Utilizing motivational interviewing, Don seeks to create a connection with his clients and uses that connection to explore one's actions. Don believes that it took us a while to get where we are so it will take us a while to make the changes needed. Don is non judgemental and seeks to help others set their own standards by honoring the individual's work and value system.


Don has over 20 years experience supporting adolescents in the public school system. In addition, he has worked in a homeless shelter for 10 years with 8 of them specifically in a men's recovery program. He is a certified Genesis counselor for substance use and addiction. Don is comfortable utilizing faith based counseling but also accepts and honors all walks of life.
Don works with couples, adults, families, men, women and adolescents.
